Miss Peaches theme camp went off at Third Degree 2024! The concept for Miss Peaches is an interactive performance art camp where the performances don’t happen until the audience is participating.

I love seeing how our camp evolves each year and grows more awesome thanks to our fantastic crew. We ran non-stop events and workshops over the 3 days, including;

• Miss Peaches Speakeasy – bad jazz karaoke
• Miss Peaches High School Disco – main event!
• Gibberish breakfast
• Erotic writing circle
• Consent 101
• Sea shanties
• Improv theatre
• Silly Walks Parade
• Big Dress Parade (with Camp Allegedly)
• Music jam (with Harmony Lab)
• The Booth – offering space (e.g. The Confessional)
• Gwublings Theatre (Sal & Alex’s amazing artwork)
• Secret Snowflake Garden – chill space

And of course, we also ran The Wonky Fox Bar, serving shots, cocktails, fairy bread and cheese toasties.

What does a night at Miss Peaches Speakeasy look like? Here is a selection of brave jazz singers who joined us at Third Degree.

What does gibberish over brekkie look and sound like? It was amazing how gibberish became a way to communicate and hold a whole conversation that made sense without words! Kids loved the dotdot (fairy bread) and adults appreciated the cafcaf. So much fun!

Running a theme camp is a lot of work and also a lot of fun! I could never do it without the help of my awesome crew and their creative ideas and energy.
