Good Art opening night at the GOOD SPACE Festival
The Good Art opening night featured multiple artists, art collectives, open studios and art shops across 2 floors of the venue. I had two pieces of work on display – The Little Things and Totemic Spirit Figures.

Totemic Spirit Figures
These Totemic Spirit Figures were originally conceived as an embodiment of the spirit of all indigenous ancestry and of reconnection, a homage to indigenous cultures around the world. 4 were on display at GOOD SPACE Festival.

Solo photographic exhibition exploring the little things that became important as our focus narrowed to our immediate environment during the COVID pandemic.

Ku-ring-gai Wildflower Garden Sculpture Trail
Three of my waste-to-art Totemic Spirit Figure sculptures – Possum, Kangaroo and Quoll – were selected for inclusion in the Ku-ring-gai Sculpture Trail in the beautiful Ku-ring-gai Wildflower Garden. And I won 2nd prize!

Memory Quilt
Memory Quilt utilised iphonography to explore what made a fleeting moment meaningful and what took it from ordinary to extraordinary. Inspired by heirloom patchwork quilts that told the story of family and ancestry, Memory Quilt was created for “Ordinary (extra)Ordinary”, a group exhibition I co-curated.

Effigy
A homage to the ancient original effigy of female beauty, the Venus of Willendorf, Effigy was an interpretive piece exploring social beauty standards and how we see ourselves.

Building Blocks
Building Blocks was an interpretive book art piece that played with messaging, image, narrative and interactivity to deconstruct the notion of a book. It explored how language and story are used to create our world – physically, virtually and metaphorically.

Pavement is a photodocumentary series exploring our built environment and the subtle clues and secrets the pavement reveals about culture and how we respond to that urban environment.
